Contract: Full Time and Part- Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Mixed - Days & Nights Contracted hours: Full Time and Part TimeValerian Court is a newly-built care home in Didcot, Oxfordshire, providing exceptional Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 70 residents. Located in a welcoming, friendly environment, the home ensures every resident receives compassionate, person-centred support to live well, with dignity and purpose.
We are looking for kind, dedicated Care Assistants to join our supportive team. Whether you are experienced in care or looking to start a meaningful new career, we provide the training and guidance you need to succeed.

Your Role
As a Care Assistant at Valerian Court, you will be a vital part of our care team, supporting residents with their daily routines, promoting independence, and ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing are prioritised. You will help residents get dressed, eat, stay active, and enjoy social interactions, while providing compassionate, personalised care that makes a real difference every day.
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, friendly personality with a genuine desire to care for others
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a respectful, person-centred approach
- Willingness to learn and complete training
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred, but not essential – we welcome applications from those new to care
