We aim to serve and support those in the local and wider community, irrespective of their background, providing safe spaces where all people are loved, nurtured, encouraged, and supported to become the people God wants them to be. Key Responsibilities:Engage with children aged 0-13 and deliver a range of ministry-based programs and activities, including a baby bank, toddler group, and kids club to support the successful delivery of missionResponsible for leading Bible-based activities, facilitating prayer, and providing chaplaincy-style support and conversationsParticipate in and lead Christian worship where appropriate Demonstrate both a professional and caring manner when interacting with programme participants to create a welcoming and supportive environmentFulfil any relevant administration processes to ensure that accurate records are maintainedContribute into the planning and review processes for the programmes and activities to ensure continuous improvement and development to meet the changing needs of the communityMaintain close links to the community and any relevant external agencies to help identify new ways to deliver mission and facilitate the establishment of effective collaborative ways of workingThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:A strong, vibrant Christian faithExcellent interpersonal skillsA passion to support people.The ability to maintain efficient record-keeping systems.The ability to work efficiently as part of a team Integrity and confidentiality.This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of, and supportive of, the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.
