About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Collect raw milk from a network of local farms and deliver it to our processing facility, maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards throughout. Ensure deliveries and collections meet client standards.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, ensuring collections and deliveries meet both internal and client expectations. Enjoy rural driving through beautiful landscapes.
- Maintain regular contact with the transport office to receive updates, report issues, and help manage customer expectations in real time.
- Navigate scenic countryside routes while adhering to road safety and transport regulations.
- Participate in scheduled training sessions to stay current with industry best practices, health and safety protocols, and vehicle operation standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- You must hold a valid Class 1 licence, enabling you to operate articulated vehicles. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Card are essential. Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Previous experience operating milk tankers is beneficial but not required-we provide full training to help you get up to speed. Confident, polite, and a team player.
- You take pride in delivering excellent service and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- You're comfortable working to deadlines and managing your schedule effectively.
- Good knowledge of local and regional routes helps ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
