To assist the Facilities Operational Manager Patient Environment in being the first point of contact for all facilities within the allocated area ensuring that all services meet the expectation of the patient, client and agreed service levels. To assist the Facilities Manager Patient Environment in achieving their allocated area action plan and targets by leading and managing the Facilities supervisors and operational team in a day to day basis. To complete any administrative tasks that are necessary for the smooth running of their block. Essential knowledge and skills for the role are:- To be educated to a relevant certificate level of education or be able to achieve a certificate level qualification Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate (Level 3 Food Safety.) To have had former or current supervisory experience of any form of staff group and an understanding of facilities related services e.g. cleaning, catering or portering Excellent IT and administration skills Knowledge of cleaning/catering practices Knowledge and experience of PLACE Knowledge of key Human Resource Policies/procedures Excellent motivational skills All applications are to be made via the NHS jobs website.
