About the Role
We are currently looking for a proactive, reliable and caring Support Worker to join our team in Swadlincote. You’ll be working within a supported living setting, providing person-centred care to semi-independent service users with varying support needs.
This role involves working both independently as a lone worker and as part of a wider team, supporting individuals to maintain their independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs
Support service users with daily routines, activities, and life skills
Administer medication in line with care plans and policies
Carry out Moving and Handling procedures safely and effectively
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and care documentation
Promote independence, dignity, and choice at all times
Requirements
Experience working within a supported living or similar care setting
Confident working both alone and as part of a team
Moving and Handling experience (essential)
Experience administering medication (essential)
A positive, proactive and compassionate approach
Good communication and problem-solving skills
