Role Overview:
The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join their dynamic team in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical building services for a variety of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the continued success of the consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design and engineering of Building Services projects from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and sustainable design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- UK-based experience
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical building services engineering.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
