Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a 0.7 Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery, to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment, to ensure successful learner outcomes and maximise potential for all.

Sustainability is a key priority for Warrington & Vale Royal College, and we are committed to raising awareness and the implementation of sustainable practices in all aspects of college life. Sustainability principles are embedded across college, and our sustainability action plan and committee are led by senior leaders to ensure that this remains a key focus.
You will either have a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification. Through the Taking Teaching Further Programme, the college is able to recruit applicants with industry experience to retrain as FE teachers. The programme will provide funding for the cost of the teacher qualification and full mentor support, provided by the college.
The college welcomes applications from skilled professionals and industry experts who would like to consider a teaching career and share their skills with the next generation. You don’t always need a degree or teaching qualification to get started. There are opportunities to complete your teacher training on the job. For the academic year 25/26, eligible teachers could receive a premium payment of £2,000 to £6,000; further details are available on request.
