We are looking for a skilled Senior Fabricator to join our Pipeline Production team on an ongoing PAYE contract basis. This role is located at Old Kilpatrick and will be working Mon-Fri on site so candidates should be able to meet that requirement.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in TIG welding, MIG welding, and aluminium welding, with practical experience using plasma cutting, burning gear, power tools, and grinders. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal components to meet high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
What will you be doing?
• Perform TIG, MIG, and aluminium welding to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment to precisely cut metal materials according to specifications.
• Use burning gear to shape and prepare metal surfaces for fabrication.
• Utilize power tools and grinders to cut, shape, and finish metal parts, ensuring smooth and accurate results.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Thorough attention to precision and a steadfast commitment to quality products.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and prolonged standing.
• Relevant certifications in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) are a plus.
