About the Restaurant
Our prestigious, award-winning restaurant, set within a stunning luxury hotel, offers an exceptional dining experience that celebrates local Scottish produce with a focus on fine dining. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and deliver unparalleled guest experiences.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction, and team performance. You will be the face of the restaurant, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere for our guests while maintaining its reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
-Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, stock control, and financial reporting.
-Ensure a seamless dining experience, handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
-Collaborate with the Head Chef to align front-of-house and kitchen operations.
-Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Drive revenue through upselling, promotions, and maintaining guest loyalty.
-Manage budgets, control costs, and contribute to the restaurant’s financial success.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and professional individual with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in restaurant management.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a restaurant management role, ideally within a fine dining or luxury setting.
-Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
-Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine service.
-Excellent customer service skills and a guest-focused mindset.
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficiency in budgeting, stock management, and POS systems.
-Knowledge of Scottish cuisine and local produce is a plus.
