Crynodeb
To work as a member of the dietetic team providing a comprehensive, effective and evidence based dietetic service for patients at University Hospitals Dorset, including but not limited to surgical and gastroenterology patients. To provide support to both the surgical and gastroenterology wards at UHD giving specialist advice to patients with a variety of clinical conditions. To independently formulate safe, appropriate and accurate treatment plans for oral, enteral & parenteral nutrition as part of care plans with the multi-disciplinary team. To work with the UHD nutrition support MDT to provide nutrition support to those with complex feeding issues. Deliver a fortnightly gastroenterology outpatient clinic with support from the specialist gastroenterology dietitian.
