We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administrator to provide essential support for the Employer Partnerships and Business Development Team.

The team’s focus is supporting employers to meet their recruitment and workforce development needs. This not only provides the employers with an exceptional service, but also supports the university with meeting targets for recruitment to apprenticeship and professional development programmes and employability opportunities for undergraduate and post graduate students.

This role will involve assisting with various operational processes such as maintaining databases and enquiry management systems ensuring the consistency and integrity of information; producing routine Labour Market Intelligence reports and statistical information as required; assisting with the collation and uploading of data and information in support of bids and tenders and employer and contract reporting; managing shared email inboxes and sending routine correspondence.

You will have a can-do attitude, with great communication skills and will be able to liaise with employers and staff members. You will enjoy juggling various tasks and be able to prioritise effectively.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to play a role in enhancing our partnerships and business development opportunities whilst gaining lots of experience.

We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.

You will be contractually enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
Find out more about the LGPS.

If you are, or have been, a recent member of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) directly prior to joining us, you can choose to opt out of the LGPS and remain in the USS. Please contact the Pensions team to discuss options available.

For this job, we particularly welcome applications from minority ethnic applicants who are underrepresented in this area/ this type of job at Sheffield Hallam.
