Class 1 HGV Driver - £15.50 per hour - Accrington
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our busy transport team based in Accrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for steady day shifts with consistent hours.
Location: Accrington
Working Hours: Monday - Sunday, 08:00 - 16:00 (regular daytime shifts)
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour

Carrying out general haulage work safely and efficiently

Completing pallet deliveries to various locations

Handling container deliveries as required

Ensuring all goods are transported securely and delivered on time

Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining driving standards in line with regulations

Completing necessary paperwork and keeping accurate delivery records

Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Previous Class 1 driving experience (general haulage or palletised deliveries preferred)

A professional approach with excellent customer service skills

Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations

Ongoing, consistent work based in Accrington
