Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Care and Support Worker (Grade CD) to join the team at Whitby Road Elderly Persons Home (EPH) in Pickering. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a real difference in the lives of older adults.
As part of a supportive and professional team, you'll help provide day-to-day care and support for residents, ensuring their well-being, dignity, and independence are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and support to residents
• Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
• Support residents to maintain their independence and quality of life
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate care records in line with organisational standards
• Promote a safe, respectful, and caring environment
About You:
• Caring, patient, and respectful attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work shifts (including weekends and evenings if needed)
• Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential – full support provided

• End Date: Approx. 32 weeks from start
• Pay Rate: £15.24 per hour
