Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their home, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in following their care plans and achieving their personal goals.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments when necessary.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes and communication within the team.
A valid driving licence is advantageous.
Ability to follow care plans accurately while demonstrating empathy and patience towards clients.
