Great opportunity to work as a Corporate Security Officer for G4S, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

G4S is recruiting for a Corporate Security Officer to work in Essex with a global company!

Must have a valid SIA and Full UK Driving License.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £15.56 per hour
Shift Pattern: Flexibility required Monday to Sunday.
Hours per week: up to 42 hours (on average) working 6:00 - 18:00, 18:00 to 6:00
SIA Licenses: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor and CCTV is required.

Your Time at Work

- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Physically fit to complete patrols and able to stand/walk during shift
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all incidents, including video footage, reports, and other relevant documentation. Accurate daily occurrence log records for CCTV patrols and faults must be maintained
- Reporting: Document incidents, suspicious activities, and any unusual occurrences in detail, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to relevant authorities or supervisors. Equipment failures and faults must be inspected and reported in line with established procedures.
- Monitoring: Continuously observe live CCTV camera feeds to identify potential security breaches, criminal activity, or safety hazards and arranging for the collation and viewing of CCTV images in response to incident management, strictly in accordance with the CCTV Code of Practice, are key functions.
- Incident Response: Respond to alarms, alerts, and other notifications from the CCTV system, assess the situation, and take appropriate action, such as contacting law enforcement or other emergency services.

Our Perfect Worker

- SIA Licence required, CCTV and DS/SG
- Corporate Security experience for at least 2 years is an advantage
- Ex forces would be an advantage
- Must be flexible and be able to workdays, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times
- Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
- A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character
- To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
