Summary
We are looking for a flexible and dedicated Biology Teacher to provide day-to-day cover in secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their teaching and is passionate about inspiring students in the world of Biology. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Biology Teacher:
Deliver engaging Biology lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
Adapt to different school environments and maintain high teaching standards.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
Follow lesson plans where provided, and use initiative when required.
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
Ideal Biology Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Specialism in Biology (with the ability to cover General Science if required).
Strong classroom management skills as a Biology Teacher.
Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt quickly.
A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
