Owen Payne Recruitment are currently recruiting for Industrial Cleaners to join a leading Steel manufacturing client based in the Smethwick (B66) area.
This position will be temporary, ongoing - shifts will be booked on a weekly basis.
Job duties:
• Deep Cleaning exercises
• Complete regular cleans and sanitation of areas such as: washrooms, manufacturing bays, offices, hallways, canteens, glass panels & doors
• Maintains high cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors
• All waste to be correctly disposed of
• Handling heavy equipment to perform duties e.g., scrubber driers
• Ensure all H&S compliant signs are in place and removed when required
• Complete daily site report after each shift
• Any additional duties as and when required
Candidate requirements:
• Clear ability to communicate and write reports ensuring adequate handovers to the next team
• Previous cleaning experience
• Good level of English - Written and Verbal
• Keen attention to detail, identifying risks and reporting
• Good physical condition to handle daily duties
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
Working Hours:
• AM Shift - 06:00 till 14:00
• OR
• PM Shift - 14:00 till 22:00
Pay Rate:
• £12.21 per hour
