ADR Network is now recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers for peak season work at DHL TK Maxx, Brackmills. With guaranteed hours, excellent pay, and full onboarding, this is a great opportunity to secure consistent work right through Christmas.
We’re ideally looking for 19 Class 1 drivers, but also welcome Class 2 drivers as part of the team. Class 1 drivers may be assigned to Class 2 runs and will remain on Class 1 rates.
Shifts run across Sunday to Saturday with early starts (from 4am) and evening shifts (from 5:30pm). You’ll typically work 10-hour shifts, and we guarantee a minimum of 8 hours pay per day. A driver would usually earn a minimum of £19.88 p/hr for a standard Day shift assignment.
Duties involve delivering palletised goods to stores using a tail lift and pallet truck.
Pay and Benefits:
• Class 1 Day Rate: £18.07/hr | OT: £27.11/hr
• Class 1 Night Rate: £19.18/hr | OT: £28.17/hr
• Daily OT applies after 8 hours worked
• Weekend premium (1.5x) for regular drivers
• All training days fully paid
Paid Training & Onboarding:
• 2-day induction (Drug and Alcohol testing applies at this depot)
• Buddy driving shifts
• Smith System safety training within 4 weeks
• Flexible assessment slots (Mon–Fri)
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence and Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months of recent HGV driving experience required
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
This is a supportive, professional site where agency drivers are fully included in staff events such as go-karting, on-site food treats, and holiday celebrations. The operation covers East Anglia and the London outskirts.
