Location: Hilbourne, Poole
Duration: 7 Months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00
Rate: £25.00 per hour

Are you a skilled and reliable plumber looking for a rewarding new project? We’re currently recruiting for an experienced plumber to join a professional team on a long-term contract in Hilbourne, Poole.
Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a specialist residential/mechanical project with a strong pipeline of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of various plumbing and heating systems, including cutting-edge air source heat pump technology.
Scope of Work:
You will be expected to carry out a wide range of plumbing and heating tasks, including:
• Installation of Uponor pipework (heating) from Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) to hot water cylinder
• Heating pipework installation to Underfloor Heating (UFH) manifolds
• Fitting and commissioning of ASHP units
• Installation of cylinders and accessories (including expansion vessels, pumps, valves, etc.)
• Hot & Cold (H&C) water systems running point-to-point from manifolds
• Copper pipe transitions where necessary
• Towel rail pipework installation
• Sanitaryware fitting (toilets, basins, showers, etc.)
• Installation of PVC waste pipes
• Construction and installation of PVC SVP (Soil Vent Pipe) stacks
This role will suit someone with a meticulous eye for detail and a strong track record of delivering high-quality plumbing installations.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
• A valid Blue or Gold CSCS card
• Proven experience in plumbing and heating installations, especially with modern systems such as ASHPs and UFH
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on-site
• Your own tools and PPE
• Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics
