Summary
We are seeking Agency Support Workers to assist on an ad-hoc basis at several local children’s homes. One of our clients is seeking a temporary to permanent recruitment pathway for the suitable candidates.
Duties and responsibilities of a Support Worker –
- Maintaining a safe, clean and positive living environment for the young people.
- Following correct safeguarding practices.
- Providing personal, domestic and emotional support.
- Engaging in fun activities within the community and within the home.
- Promoting and developing positive relationships with the young people.
- Work collaboratively with the core staff team to promote the well-being of young people.
- Knowledge of OFSTED Children's Home regulations.
Ideally you'll have the following:
- Minimum of 3 months UK based Social Care experience (Essential).
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Online update service (Preferred).
- Full Driving Licence (Essential).
