Summary

Administrator / Document Controller - HS2 Project

Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional looking to be part of a landmark national project? This is your chance to join a leading construction team working on HS2!

Hiring a motivated Administrator / Document Controller to be based out of one of our clients offices near Long Itchington, Birmingham.

This is a permanent position offering a salary of £25,000.

The Role:

As a key member of our project team, you will be the backbone of our administrative and document management functions. Your duties will include:

  • Document Control: Managing the flow of project documentation, ensuring all drawings, reports, and communications are accurately logged, filed, and distributed.

  • Administrative Support: Providing essential support to project managers, engineers, and site teams, including managing schedules, arranging meetings, and handling correspondence.

  • Compliance: Ensuring all documents and administrative processes adhere to project standards and company procedures.

  • Data Management: Maintaining an organised and up-to-date document management system, ensuring information is easily accessible.

  • Liaison: Acting as a central point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for all administrative queries.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in an administrative or document control role within the construction or civil engineering sector is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A proactive and meticulous approach to your work.

  • A passion for the construction industry and a keen interest in major projects like HS2.
