JOB TITLE: Customer Hub Housing Officer - Supported Accommodation
REF: Newcastle Under Lyme RQ1572175
Pay rate: £14.36 per hour PAYE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week. 09:00 to 17:00, with 30 minutes unpaid break.
Duration: Temporary basis, 6 months until February 2026.
Working Arrangement: Hybrid. Remote for experienced candidate only.
The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Customer Hub Officer ( Supported Accommodation) on a temporary basis. As a Customer Hub Officer within the Supported Accommodation Team, you will play a crucial role of focusing on ensuring that residents receive the support they need in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the reviewing of providers of supported accommodation.
Monitoring and responding to the general inbox to answer queries and concerns raised.
Signposting residents to appropriate internal or external services, including mental health, addiction support, benefits advice.
Booking and managing appointments for key workers, repairs and external services.
Recording and maintaining the Housing Management Systems.
What the client is looking for:
Knowledge of Supported Accommodation and/or Housing Benefit is essential
Previous experience working within Supported Accommodation is preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
Good IT skills with knowledge of MS365 skills, including Teams and Outlook.
