Crynodeb
The rota is currently a 1 in 8 on-call rota providing out of hours cover to cardiac surgery including prospective cover provided for both Annual and Study leave. The apointee will be covered at all times by a senior StR and supported by anaesthetic colleagues to provide complete care in the cardiothoracic ITU. Consultant surgical and anaesthetic cover is provided on a 24 hour basis.
