Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities. 1.Monitor and investigate datix incidents in relation to Security and their reporting to promote a secure and safe culture, reviewing information pertaining to incidents on direction of the Security Service Manager and investigate, when necessary, breaches in security within the Trust. 2.Contribute to the development of, review and maintain the Trusts Security Strategy and associated policies and local procedures, taking account of new guidance from NHSI, NHS Resolution and other relevant organisations. 3.Act as a point of contact for the SI Team in relation to Police cases where internal investigations are required. 4.When required, provide input into Safeguarding referrals that involve the Police. 5.Contribute to the fulfilment of the Secretary of State Directions for NHS Bodies to tackle violence against staff and professionals who work or provide services to the NHS, and promote Zero Tolerance policy towards violence and aggression. 6.Support in the Security Manager in delivery of the Security risk assessment process for buildings, making recommendations and seeking solutions to mitigate or eliminate risk and to ensure that the process to monitor risks are followed and documented. 7.Support in the maintenance of the database in relation to CCTV and monitor compliance to relevant codes of practice and Legislation. Review remotely any access requests for CCTV footage and process as required. 8.Support in the management of relevant areas of outsourced security contracts (alongside the Estates and Contracts Teams). Input on any change implementation and recommending contract variations where required. 9.Contribute to the development of the course content for Conflict Resolution training (CRT) in line with relevant guidance. 10.Liaise with Local Counter Fraud Management Specialist (LCFMS) and other relevant agencies.
