CHILDREN’S CLUB ASSISTANT – Permanent/Part time

We are a friendly and welcoming team, committed to providing a rich and vibrant learning experience for all our pupils.
The governors are looking to appoint a children’s club assistant to join our team in running our wrap around care provision for children at our school aged 4-11. The club, called the Hive Club, is based at St Paul’s.
The breakfast club runs from 7.30-8.50am, Monday to Friday, term time only. The afterschool club runs from 3.30-6.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only. This role is for Monday-Thursday, 7.15-8.50am and 3.30-6.00pm.
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic staff member who will be able to work as part of a team to create a fun, safe and inclusive environment. You will help with running the day to day sessions which will include a range of engaging activities including sporting, academic and relaxing.
You will also need to prepare and supervise refreshments for the children.
We are looking for someone who can use their initiative to work on their own, but also enjoy working as part of a team. You will also need to help in ensuring the well-being and safeguarding of all the children and staff.

We are looking for someone who:
• Would like to work with children or start a career of working with children. Previous experience of working with children would be desirable but not essential.

• Has excellent communication skills and is approachable
