voco St David's Cardiff have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Co-Ordinator to join our Cardiff Bay 5-star hotel on a Full-time contract!

You will earn £14.60 per hour, equal to £30,368.00 salary.

This role will be based at voco St. David’s Cardiff, with a clustering opportunity with Hotel Indigo Gloucester later in the year. As such, travel to this property will be expected in line with the business need.

We are looking for an individual to assist in the smooth running of the HR Department by assisting on a regular basis with the established administration and operational procedures within the HR function, as well as supporting with setting up HR events etc. and assisting in ad-hoc HR projects.

We are looking for a creative, adaptable and confident person to work in this department.

To succeed as an HR Co-ordinator, you will need:

  • Previous experience of working in a generalist HR role, ideally in an operational environment from a retail, hospitality or service organisation.
  • Working towards CIPD Level 3 - being qualified already is a plus
  • A sound understanding of UK employment law and best practice
  • Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and to multiple deadlines.
  • A passion for people engagement and co-ordinating the Activity calendar
  • Being a self-starter and able to work well under your own initiative is a must
  • Have the self-confidence to assist with delivery of inductions and training initiatives
