You will be responsible for the day-to-day provision of a finance support function within the Children’s Services finance team to both qualified finance staff and operational budget holders.
Duties will include assisting with financial monitoring and budgetary control, preparing revenue budget monitoring reports, processing entries to the financial ledger, providing financial advice and support, undertaking cost and variance investigations, assisting the Finance Business Partner and other colleagues in the preparation of annual accounts and budget plans.
It is essential that you have experience of operating electronic financial ledger systems and experience of using MS Excel to analysis and reconcile financial information.
It is essential that you have a HND in Relevant Discipline.
You will also have experience of providing finance support to budget holders and senior managers and have effective report writing and PC skills.
