Our working culture is people focused ensuring every team member is supported and provided with all the tools needed to thrive in their role. We have competitive benefits, flexible work-life balance and a focus on health and wellbeing ensuring that you can achieve your career aspirations and goals whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

An exciting opportunity has become available for experienced social workers to join our Cared for Children service.
About the role
You will deliver statutory services for our cared for children and ensuring that they are safe and well cared for. This will include direct work with children, and you will have sound assessment skills which ensure effective assessment of need, leading to robust and timely care planning
You will make a positive difference for our cared for children by enabling them to live within their family where this is safe, including through reunification and discharge of Care Orders. You will ensure timely, clear and suitable permanence plans which allow our young people to live without our intervention where possible, and you will work alongside our partners to be ambitious for the children we care for.
There is a possibility that you may be allocated children who are subject to ongoing care proceedings, although, the majority of work within the service is with children who are subject to final Care Orders.
The successful candidate will:
Be passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes for cared for children
Be able to work autonomously and to complete work to a high standard within timescales
Want to be part of our improvement journey at Cheshire East in order for strong social work practice to flourish
Have extensive experience of being a social worker for children and young people

NHS Fleet Solutions Green Car Scheme: Drive a brand-new electric or hybrid car with no deposit or credit checks and save on tax and National Insurance. Competitive Salary: With a pending pay award.
Flexible Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, with up to 18 days of flexible leave per year.
