We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Educational Psychologist to join our dynamic team on a project basis. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the educational and psychological needs of children and young people.
Develop and implement tailored interventions strategies based on assessment outcomes and best practices in educational psychology.
Provide expert consultation and support to teachers, school staff, and parents to enhance educational and emotional outcomes for students.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate educational plans and provisions for students with special educational needs.
Deliver training and workshops to educational staff on psychological concepts, behavioral management, and effective support strategies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support strategies, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports, adhering to relevant legislation and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
A relevant degree in Educational Psychology and a current registration with a recognized professional body.
Proven experience working in educational settings, providing support to children and young people.
Strong understanding of educational policies, frameworks, and current issues affecting students with special educational needs.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret psychological assessments and data effectively.
Ability to communicate complex psychological concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences including educators, parents, and children.
Demonstrated skills in developing intervention programs and promoting positive behavioral strategies.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across various projects and settings, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £70.13
