We’re excited to be opening a brand-new retail unit at Warwick Hospital, featuring ISS’s fresh ‘The Place’ branding – and we’re looking for a Retail Manager to lead the way.
Job Description
This flagship healthcare retail site offers a hot food service, salad bar, and self-serve coffee.
As Retail Manager, you’ll oversee the restaurant, manage and inspire the team, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new concept, make your mark from the very beginning, and help shape ISS’s future in healthcare retail.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, guide and support catering staff to ensure effective performance and compliance with company standards and policies.
Drive income, GP levels and budget performance across all cost centres, maintaining strong financial controls.
Oversee staff recruitment, induction, training and performance management, including absence monitoring and appraisals.
Implement and monitor operational systems such as EPoS, PMS and Saffron to enhance efficiency and support business growth.
Ensure high standards of health, safety, risk management and compliance across all catering operations.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff, clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
Respond effectively to incidents and complaints while supporting continuous improvement and service development.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Ideally holds Food Safety Level 2
Experience in managing teams
Previous retail experience preferred
