Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday; flexible start/ finish times to business needs

Hours: 40 hrs a week

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Site Cleaning Manager to oversee the Operational delivery of janitorial services at the site, building excellent relationships with the client and your team whilst maintaining a high-quality service output.



-An understanding of cleaning, waste and forklift truck activities.

-Develop a comprehensive knowledge of site in terms of layout, fit-out, working hours and operating times in order to create and adapt adequate cleaning schedules.

-Manage all staff on-site, ensuring a consistent delivery of hours, in-line with the site budget

-Administer payroll for hourly paid staff both direct employees and agency in-line with company procedures and targets

-Create and promote a positive safety culture on-site where hazards are proactively recorded and a lessons learnt approach taken to limit accidents and incidents.

-Have a thorough understanding of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Control of Substances Hazardous to health.

-Achieve excellent cleaning standards, exceeding client expectations, evidenced through the weekly cleaning standards audit undertaken with the client. Acting upon any potential failings and opportunities for improvement in a timely manner

-Drive continuous improvements by seeking innovations, identifying efficiencies and negotiating with customers, staff and suppliers

-Maintain adequate stock levels and place orders as required and within the site budget

-Ensure all equipment is well clean, well-maintained and safe, as well as It being operated in-line with the requirements of site



Health and Safety responsibilities

-Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;

-Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;

-Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;

-Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system



What are we looking for?

-Experience working in a Cleaning/ Healthcare setting

-Experience in Management, ideally of large teams

-Somone adaptable, motivated and organised with excellent timekeeping

-An engaging and enthusiastic personality with staff, clients and stakeholders

-Commercial awareness with experience of holding budgetary control

-IOSH Managing Safety or comparable qualification - essential, or willingness to complete within first month of employment

-Must be able to complete a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check
