GSOC Relief Operator
Overview
The GSOC relief operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyze, and support allincidents that are impactful or potentially impactful to business, the brand and or employees. TheGSOC relief operator plays an integral role in the supporting operational efficiencies and the highperformance of the GSOC team. The GSOC relief operator supports regional security teams as theyprepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents. This position isresponsible for using best practices for communicating information surrounding those incidents toleadership as appropriate.
Reports To: GSOC Duty Shift ManagerResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Act as the GSOC primary POC to address business disruptions, incident response and crisismanagement in providing general assistance to the Global Security Team.● If required, assist security management and GSOC security management whilst working closelywith the regional security teams.● Provide oversight to routinely support GS and IDC operations, in line with established post orders,response protocols and SOPs.● Liaise with GSS to dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, police, fire, and EMS personnel in linewith Meta protocols and operational guidance documents.● Communicates and disseminates information, using established communication vehicles, to keypartners using best practices.● Maintain various records of communications and events.● Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information, intelligence, andincidents.● Informs (without delay) the regional TOC of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment orcommunications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems.● Works with the regional TOC to maintain routine security system end user health checks,identifying and mitigating issues that arise.Special skills and attributes include:● Relevant security experience, licensing, and certificates as applicable.● Excellent verbal and communication skills.● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.● Ability to multi-ask, discerns patterns in detail.● Strong decision-making ability during both crisis and non-crisis situations.

-This role is a one month in advance flexible roster role.
-Days and Nights will need to be covered, including some short notice requests.
-Shifts are 12-hours.
