Summary

Active Kids is a family-run day nursery in the heart of Hangleton, providing care for children aged 3 months up to 5 years.

We are currently recruiting an Early Years Educator to join our team to be a valued member of our dynamic team of experienced and friendly staff.

Applicants must:
• Hold a level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years.
• Work well as part of a team, closely partnering with other members of staff to provide a stimulating learning environment
• Be enthusiastic about learning
• Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to develop in
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to work under direction

Duties will include:
• Planning and preparing activities for the children
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Supervising children at mealtimes
• Completing children’s online learning journals
• Working closely with the Manager/Deputy to organise the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Promoting a clean and stimulating environment
• Working as per the policies and procedures of the setting
