We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook with an Enhanced CRB to join our catering and hospitality team in a residential setting. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with residents' dietary needs and preferences.
Plan and develop menus that offer a variety of nutritious and appealing meal options.
Ensure that all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed in the kitchen.
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative environment.
Engage with residents to understand their feedback and improve meal offerings based on their suggestions.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
Enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) clearance is mandatory.
Proven experience as a cook in a similar setting, preferably in catering or hospitality.
Strong knowledge of dietary needs and nutrition to accommodate residents' requirements.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating diverse and appetizing meals.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents and staff effectively.
Food hygiene certification or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 16:00
Pay Per Hour: £16.79
