Join us as the City of Edinburgh Council’s Corporate Director of Place

At the City of Edinburgh Council, we’re prioritising creating good places to live and work, taking all the local actions needed to end poverty and working to deliver a net zero city by 2030. As Corporate Director of Place, you will be at the heart of these priorities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary and strategic leader to oversee one of the most dynamic portfolios in the Council, which includes responsibility for culture, economic development, environmental services, housing, homelessness, development, estates, roads, transport, and planning.

We’re looking for someone with a strong and successful track record of strategic leadership in a complex organisation.
