Brighter Days Care at Home Ltd are a local, family owned Care Company providing services to clients in Amesbury, Durrington, Shrewton, Salisbury and surrounding villages.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity while assisting with daily activities.
Duties
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Support clients with disabilities and a varied range of conditions.
Administer medications in line with the care plan
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Collaborate with Managers to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Provide emotional support to clients and their families during challenging times.
Requirements
Previous experience in home health care, senior care, or long-term care settings is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
A compassionate demeanour with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Understanding of caregiving principles and practices related to home & community care.

We provide full shift pay which runs from the start of your first client to when you finish your last client. All travel time is included in shift pay and mileage is paid at 35p per mile.
