Are you a Psychology graduate looking to put your knowledge into practice and gain hands-on experience in the education sector?
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated graduate to join a welcoming Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision in Rochdale.

About the role:
In this position, you will be supporting children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and speech and language delays. You'll work both 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils to engage in learning, develop social skills, and build confidence.

You will work closely with experienced SEN staff and the SENCO, giving you a valuable insight into tailored interventions, behaviour support strategies, and the day-to-day realities of supporting children with SEN. This role is ideal for anyone considering a future in educational psychology, teaching, or SEN support.

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a degree in Psychology (essential)

Has a genuine interest in SEN and child development

Is patient, empathetic and adaptable

Can work effectively as part of a team

Has excellent communication skills

Role details:

Location: Rochdale

Pay: £102 per day

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, term-time only

Start: ASAP

Contract: Ongoing, with the possibility of becoming permanent
