Monday to Friday – 17.5 hours per week - ideally 10.30 am - 2.00 pm.Actual salary = £9,719 p.a. (£14.61 per hour, including holiday pay)
To commence ASAPWe are looking to appoint an enthusiastic day cleaner with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude to join our friendly premises team at Hinchley Wood Primary School. This important role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the school during the day, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Duties include general cleaning, wiping down surfaces, emptying bins, and supporting with hygiene and cleanliness throughout the school day. A proactive approach, good communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team are essential. You will be required to work daily, Monday – Friday, ideally 10.30am-2.00pm, during term time – exact hours pattern to be agreed with the successful applicant.We offer:• A competitive salary • supportive and friendly team. • Two-week Autumn half term and a minimum two week break over the Christmas period;
