A Driving License with C1 Class is Essential - You will be required to confirm within your application that you hold a full C1 Category on your license which is valid within the UK. The working days and times are dependent upon current provision required to meet operational/patient demand and this can include Bank Holidays, weekends and nights, preparing our frontline operational vehicles and maintaining our provision on a 24-hour basis. A significant percentage of our Ambulance Vehicle Preparation is completed overnight. However, night and weekend working does attract unsocial payments. Holiday entitlement is between 27 days and 33 days (pro-rata) depending on length of NHS service plus bank holidays on a pro-rata basis.
