As a new employee you would receive comprehensive job training to give you the skills and knowledge to meet out standards via our Safe & Effective Cleaning training programme consisting of our training video and a fully paid training and induction session in our Widnes head office.
All new employees are also provided with free uniform (tabards or t-shirts). Additional uniform items can be purchased at subsidised rates. We also provide any necessary PPE.
Job vacancy details
We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaning Operative to join our team in helping to create a clean & hygienic environment for pupils and staff at a primary school in Farnworth, Widnes.
-Duration: Permanent
-Hours: 3.15 pm to 5.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 3.15 to 5.15 pm on Friday during term time. (total 12 hours per week). Additional hours will be required in some school holidays for deep cleans.
-Hourly Pay rates - £12.60 Monday to Friday, £13.10 weekends, £18.90 bank holidays
-Duties will include cleaning classrooms, communal areas, toilet rooms, emptying bins, mopping floors, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touch points and any other associated tasks.
-Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks paid annual leave per year

What we ask from you
-Must be able to get to place of work for the required times (essential)
-Previous cleaning experience would be a welcome advantage but not essential as we provide full training
-Ability to provide references is Essential. Employment references are preferred but we will also accept education references or personal character references if employment references are not possible
-Permission to apply for a DBS check (criminal record check)
-Good standard of attendance, punctuality
- Attention to detail, a conscientious attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to provide an excellent level of service
