The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a GRP Finisher on behalf of our well-established client based in Littleborough.
This is a hands-on role working with fibreglass (GRP) products, ideal for candidates with a background in automotive body repair, GRP, or similar industries.
Job Duties Include:- Finishing and inspecting GRP/fibreglass products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Using hand and power tools including sanders and buffers
- Carrying out necessary repairs to products
- Hand laminating and general GRP work
- Supporting with general warehouse duties
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- Previous hands-on experience in a shop floor or manufacturing setting
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is essential
- Comfortable working in messy environments and around strong smells
- Background in car body repair or GRP work is highly desirable
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Monday - Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours
- Starting: £12.65 per hour
- After 6 weeks: £12.95 per hour
- Upon going permanent: £13.45 per hour
- + Overtime paid at time and a half
