Based at our Pex Hill Country Park Office in Merseyside, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a Cheshire and Merseyside mid-week volunteers group and delivering other community engagement environment and wellbeing projects.
Your duties will include organising and delivering high quality, practical conservation projects for volunteers and developing and maintaining partner relationships. There will be a requirement to support the management of budgets and resources, including vehicles, tools and equipment and to maintain safe working practices.
This role will also require the successful candidate to recruit, supervise and manage volunteers to deliver conservation and environmental improvements at a variety of sites for a range of clients. You will need to maintain records of activities and report to funders as required and assist in income generation, where appropriate.
You will have experience of working with volunteers, a wide range of practical conservation skills and the personality, aptitude and experience to share them with volunteers of differing abilities. IT literacy and basic financial skills are required and a driving licence is essential.
For an informal chat, contact Andrew Brookfield on 07740 899 539.
We are happy to consider any reasonable adjustments that candidates may need during the recruitment process, and you will be asked whether you require any during your application. If you would like to discuss your requirements further please contact the People Team via recruitment@tcv.org.uk or by telephone on 01302 388883 . We also offer reasonable adjustments on the job.
A full driving licence is required as the post holder has use of a company vehicle.
This post is subject to an enhanced CRC check.
