Job Title: Personal Assistant (Part-Time – 8 Hours per Week)
Location: Chorley - Lancashire
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
Are you a friendly, reliable individual who enjoys supporting others to live independently and enjoy life to the fullest? We're looking for a part-time Personal Assistant to support a wheelchair user in getting out and about in the community.
About the Role:
This is a non-personal care role, focused on providing companionship and practical support during social and leisure activities. You’ll be helping the client enjoy outings such as:
• Going to the cinema
• Shopping trips
• Eating out
• Bowling and other community activities
Working hours are every Saturday, totalling 8 hours per week, which can be discussed further during interview.
Requirements:
• A warm, patient and supportive approach
• Good communication skills
• A car driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential – the right attitude and willingness to learn are more important
