Crynodeb

The Offender Health directorate in Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides Healthcare to five prisons and an Immigration Removal Centre in Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire. These services include physical healthcare, mental healthcare, and intellectual disability and substance misuse services. The Care Group also provides specialist treatment for individuals with problematic personality traits at HMP Whatton and North Sea camp (joint NHS/NOMS National Offender Personality Disorder programme) and is now offering OPD services within Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire (community provision). There is currently an Integrated Pathway being developed across 4 prisons: Nottingham, Lowdham Grange, Lincoln and Ranby to provide a holistic service to men who have substance misuse and mental health related challenges. These roles are based across the Offender Health Care Group, offering opportunities for networking and developing skills in a number of different group programmes and individual treatment modalities. We work in partnership with prison services, other healthcare providers and our criminal justice system partners to improve health, support justice and reduce re-offending behaviour. The Offender Health Care group truly believes it can make a difference to the lives of individuals in the criminal justice system by offering consistent, equitable, high-quality services to service users across the Care Group. If this sounds like a directorate you would like to join- we would like you to be part of our team. You should be enthusiastic, motivated, person-focused and enjoy a challenge. Previous knowledge or experience of Mental health, Personality Disorder or Forensic/ Secure services is beneficial. Want to know more?
