An After-school Nanny is needed by this busy family to help them look after their toddler and school-aged child. The family seeks a reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic nanny who can carry out all childcare duties. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with young children, can provide engaging after-school care, and is confident in supporting early homework routines. A driver would be a bonus.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 20 hours per week
Duties include:
Safely pick up children from school
Assist with homework, reading, and studying
Help the youngest child with early learning activities, including writing, basic phonics, and reading
Engage the children in stimulating indoor and outdoor activities
Drive or walk the children to extracurricular activities as needed.
Support with evening and bedtime routines
Tidy bedrooms (make beds, put away toys/clothes)
Tidy playroom (organise toys, books, crafts)
Clean children's bathroom (sink, toilet, tub, floor)
Laundry - (Wash, Dry & Fold clothes)
Pack school bags (books, lunch, water bottles, etc.)
Check homework and notes
Lay out uniforms or clothes for the next day
Preparing fresh, homemade meals for young children and a genuine passion for healthy eating
