We are seeking reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. If you have experience in commercial driving, particularly using a Moffet truck, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Operate HGV in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all safety protocols while on the road and at delivery sites.
Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while ensuring compliance with driving hours regulations.
Experience
Proven experience as a Commercial Driver.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with London delivery routes and logistics operations is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A commitment to safety and attention to detail in all aspects of driving and delivery.
