Summary

Location: Outdoor Resource Base, Fullwood Industrial Estate, Burnbank Road, Hamilton

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Typically daytime hours Monday to Friday, 08.30am - 16.30pm, with occasional weekend and evening work including residentials

Salary Band: £36,425 - £37,465 per year

Duration: Fixed Term for 1 year from start date.

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an experienced Outdoor Instructor to join their team at Outdoor Learning and Adventure working across South Lanarkshire. You will have experience working with social work groups and/or school groups, including individuals with additional support needs. Applicants must have an outdoor specific 16 Hour Emergency First Aid or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 National Governing Body Awards from the list (or recognised equivalent); BASI level 1 ski or snowboard instructor or equivalent, MT UK Lowland Leader or above, British Canoeing Paddlesports Leader or above, MT UK Climbing Wall instructor or above, British Cycling Level 2 Mountain Bike Leader. A current driving licence is essential with a D1 driving category being desirable.
