An exciting opportunity exists for a Full Time Fixed Term Level 2 Teaching Assistant at Crickhowell High School.

It is desirable, but not essential, to have Maths/Numeracy skills/experience. We would ask you to specify this upon application.
Duties
• Working under the overall supervision of the responsible teacher, assist and support teaching and learning, working with individuals or groups.
• Working with the ALN Manager and wider Teaching Assistant team to ensure that students are supported positively at all times.
• Assist in providing for general care, safety and welfare of pupils.
• Support with referrals for external agencies.
• A flexible, self-motivating positive attitude
• Lunchtime duties
• First Aid Qualification desirable but not essential

Salary
£24,790 - £25,938 Pro-rata
Actual salary £18,359 - £19,209 pa
Hours
32 hrs per week across 5 days. Term time only plus 5 Inset days.
Fixed Term contracts in the first instance to 26/06/2026
