Salary: £24,027-£24,790 FTE, £20,685-£21,342 Actual, (£12.46 - £12.85/hr)
Hours of work: 37 hrs/week, Monday 8am-3.30pm, Tues–Friday 8am-4pm (30mins lunch)
Contract: Term time + 5 training days (195 days), Permanent
Start date: ASAP following pre-employment checks

This position presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the educational environment by undertaking a comprehensive range of financial and administrative functions, including precise record maintenance and the generation of insightful operational reports for leadership. Broadacre Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is a thriving and continually improving primary school. Based in new, purpose-built facilities, the school accommodates up to 630 pupils aged 5 to 11, along with a 52-place nursery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: To provide all aspects of the administrative role e.g. filing, typing, replying to general correspondence, answering the telephone, etc. To deal with reception visitors and to keep the head teacher informed of any issues affecting the smooth running of the schoolProcessing of requisitions, advising on best value, supporting staff with alternative providers and placing purchase orders. Processing of invoices, checking to purchase orders from requisitions, accurately and in accordance with agreed authorisation and timescales. To assist in organising school trips/events, etc. and keep the Headteacher and Business Manager updated.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent A good standard of education, including English and Maths Training in Sage or similar financial system Good organisational skills with ability to evaluate and prioritise work High standard of accuracy with attention to detail If you believe in the children in Hull, are passionate about our community and truly want to make a difference then we would love to hear from you.
