Clinical: Administer standardised tests/assessments to develop an understanding of young people attending EPIC Learning. Write clear and concise reports and intervention plans, and feedback these to relevant professionals. Liaise with both EPIC Learning staff and external education provisions regarding how to adapt delivery and/or learning content to best meet the learning needs of young persons. Provide psychological input to colleagues. Deliver interventions on a group or individual basis, arranging the session and resources required. Produce up to date notes on each participant at the end of each session. Where required write a post intervention report and provide an overall course report summarising the courses impact where appropriate. Attend meetings to feedback on individuals progress. Publicises and explain interventions to young people, staff and external agencies. Analyse data which is relevant to interventions, take remedial action where required and complete all related administration and paperwork including the production of statistics and performance reports As directed by supervisor, comply with any audit requirements. To assist with assessments, the development of formulations and the planning and delivery of their plans and interventions outside of EPIC Learning when required. To support the psychology service where required with specialist assessments and interventions To attend all relevant mandatory training as and when required to do so. To participate in Doncaster Councils annual Appraisal process. To engage in regular clinical supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines. To develop skills and competencies that assist in the delivery of current duties. To demonstrate clear communication skills, verbally and in writing that will influencing other professionals as appropriate within the context of integrated working. To share appropriate information and knowledge with others to support children and young peoples personal development, in line with information sharing protocols. To ensure all practice reflects current national and local professional guidance. To work in partnership with other agencies to ensure the safeguarding of young people. To contribute to multi-agency meetings to discuss individuals. To adopt a creative and flexible approach to working with young people and families, adapting approaches to meet individual needs. To promote equality, diversity, non-discriminatory practice and inclusion in order to deliver effective outcomes for young people and families and the wider community. To collaborate with others to offer a range of appropriate interventions to young people. To evaluate and act on information received from others. To robustly act upon and refer all concerns regarding a childs safeguarding and or safeguarding concerns for any adult in the family. To recognise and manage risk within cases as appropriate. To take responsibility for own professional development. Reflecting on and developing own practice, both individually and with colleagues. To seek appropriate guidance or information to support own knowledge and expertise
